PAM® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray

1 pkg (15.25 oz) Duncan Hines® Dolly Parton’s Sugar Cookie Mix

1/2 cup melted butter

1 egg

WALNUT FILLING:

2 tablespoons butter
-
1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
-
3 tablespoons honey
-
1/8 teaspoon salt
-
3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Step one
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 24-cup mini muffin pan with cooking spray.

Stir cookie mix, melted butter, and egg together in a medium bowl. Scoop dough into 24 portions, about 1 tablespoon each and place one into each mini muffin cup. Bake 10 minutes.

While cookies bake, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey, and salt and bring to a boil, stirring until melted and combined. Stir in walnuts and boil about a minute. Remove from heat.

After cookies have baked for 10 minutes, remove pan from oven. Use the back of a round teaspoon to make an indention in the cookies. Scoop a heaping teaspoons of walnut filling into each cookie cup. Continue baking another 5 to 7 minutes, until edges are golden brown.

Cool cookie cups in pan on a wire rack at least 10 minutes before removing cookies from pan to cool completely. Serve your honey walnut cookie cups!
