1 pkg (15.25 oz each) Duncan Hines® Dolly Parton’s Favorite Strawberry Cake Mix

1 cup milk

4 eggs

1/2 cup melted butter

1 cup tiny pretzel twists

2 tablespoons melted butter

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 container (16 oz each) Duncan Hines® Dolly Parton's Strawberry Frosting

Step one
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom and sides of two 8-inch round pans with baking spray.

Whisk cake mix, milk, eggs, and 1/2 cup melted butter together in a large bowl until well blended, about 1 minute. Pour into pans. Bake 24 to 28 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack 15 minutes. Remove from pans and cool completely.

Lightly crush pretzels and pour into a bowl. Stir in 2 tablespoons melted butter and sugar until well coated. Pour onto a baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven for 8 minutes. Remove and cool completely.

Blend softened cream cheese and 1/4-cup strawberry frosting in a clean medium bowl with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth and creamy, about a minute.

Place one cooled cake layer on serving plate. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over. Top with second cake layer. Frost cake completely with remaining strawberry frosting. Decorate with sugared pretzels and fresh strawberries. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
